Vetflux, which launched “Neul Pet Plus,” a chatbot-based platform for managing and acquiring veterinary clinic customers, announced on the 17th that it had raised seed funding from SparkLabs. The investment amount was not disclosed.

Launched in earnest last September, Neul Pet Plus is an operations automation solution for veterinary clinics developed by a practicing veterinarian. The chatbot automates the entire process, from scheduling appointments and managing medical records to tracking follow-up visits and providing at-home care instructions after treatment. The goal is to dramatically reduce the time and staffing wasted on administrative tasks.

Neul Pet Plus reduces veterinarians’ workloads by storing chatbot consultations and medical records in a database and using that information to provide a range of convenient features. Customers can easily review past treatments and receive ongoing care from veterinarians who are familiar with their pets’ recent medical histories, similar to having a “primary care veterinarian” for their pets.

The company said automated chatbot messages enable faster consultations and make it easier to respond to inquiries in real time and manage consultation histories, helping clinics attract new customers.

“The companion animal healthcare market is worth about 1.7 trillion won and is growing rapidly each year, but the work infrastructure for veterinarians and veterinary clinic staff is extremely inadequate,” said Yoon Sang-woo, CEO of Vetflux. “With this investment, we will focus on enhancing the service through features such as clinic marketing, detailed intake questionnaires and post-treatment product recommendations. We aim to help small clinics build lasting relationships with customers as their pets’ primary care providers, meet pet owners’ rising expectations, and create an environment where veterinary clinics can remain viable while complying with legal regulations.”
