Global drone entertainment leader UVify set a new record for the largest drone show in the United States, deploying more than 5,000 drones in a light show in Mansfield, Texas, on November 27, 2024, Central Time.
The show doubled the previous U.S. record of 2,500 drones, which had also been set by the UVify team. It also earned a Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Aerial Display of a Gingerbread Village made out of Drones,” once again showcasing the company’s technological and creative capabilities to the world.
The show was produced in partnership with Sky Elements Drone Shows, one of the leading drone light show companies in the United States. Sky Elements Drone Shows uses UVify’s flagship IFO drone light show solution. The achievement further demonstrated IFO’s technical reliability and exceptional flight performance. The successful collaboration also highlighted the global competitiveness of UVify’s technology and strengthened its position in the U.S. market.
On May 1, 2024, UVify staged the world’s largest drone light show, deploying 5,293 drones through a drone commercialization support program run by the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The show broke a record set by China in 2021. Building on that achievement, UVify has now successfully staged the largest drone show in the United States, with 5,000 drones.
UVify’s drone light show production team is the world’s largest drone light show design house, delivering hundreds of shows each year in South Korea and around the world, and leading the industry. In South Korea, the team produced the 2024 editions of the Gwangalli M Drone Light Show, which draws the country’s largest audiences, and the Han River Light Show, bringing the wonder of drone shows to millions of viewers annually. Held ahead of Christmas, the gingerbread village show brought warmth and excitement to audiences while once again demonstrating UVify’s exceptional technology, production capabilities and flight performance.
“The gingerbread village show was not just a technical achievement; it was the result of a creative effort to bring the joy of Christmas to audiences,” said Robert Cheek, UVify’s chief operating officer. “With the reliability and performance of our IFO solution, we are setting a new standard for drone entertainment. We will continue to expand our technology and storytelling capabilities in global markets.”
“For the past several years, UVify has continued to combine technology and art to present new visions,” said Lim Hyun, CEO of UVify. “This achievement is the result of UVify’s exceptional technology and world-class partnerships. We will continue working to create new value in the global drone entertainment market.”
