Memebox announced that it will participate in the TikTok Shop K-Beauty Collective Pop-Up, taking place June 5–7 in Dallas, Texas. Organized by the TikTok Shop Beauty team, the large-scale event will feature more than 20 K-beauty brands and is expected to draw around 5,000 consumers and creators.
Memebox plans to expand its engagement with North American consumers by showcasing its global beauty brands nooni and Kaja. nooni will host a brand experience zone focused on its hero product, Lip Oil, which has garnered 100 million cumulative views on TikTok in North America and ranked No. 1 in Amazon’s lip category. The brand will target global Gen Z and millennial consumers through on-site events, including live streams and makeup shows.
Kaja will showcase its brand identity through intuitive product formats and distinctive designs, featuring its bento-inspired eyeshadow Beauty Bento and stamp-style blush Wink Stamp. Developed in collaboration with Sephora, Kaja is expanding its brand awareness in global markets.
At the inaugural event in Los Angeles last year, Memebox participated with nooni and more than doubled TikTok Shop sales from the previous month. Around 2,500 consumers attended, and content using related hashtags garnered 11.2 million cumulative views. As the U.S. K-beauty market and K-beauty sales on TikTok Shop grew 37% and 132%, respectively, year over year, Memebox plans to continue pursuing the North American market through content commerce while expanding its U.S. brick-and-mortar retail presence in the second half of this year.
Memebox said the event offers an important opportunity for global consumers to experience nooni and Kaja firsthand, adding that it plans to further strengthen the brands’ competitiveness in North America through TikTok Shop experiences that connect content and commerce.
