A Bridgehead for Hallyu Entrepreneurs Takes Shape in New York… 2025 Startup Tour Launches in September

A hands-on startup platform to help K-brands expand globally is launching in New York.

The 2025 New York Hallyu Startup Tour is a field-based program for aspiring Korean entrepreneurs and small business owners, offering direct opportunities to launch businesses in the United States.

The first tour begins this September, with plans to run once a month. A key feature is that organizers match participants with business ideas. Participants choose an industry they are interested in, such as food and beverage, beauty, or lifestyle services, and organizers connect them with local businesses for sale or present franchise models.

The six-day tour includes sessions with immigration, tax, and real estate experts; visits to major Korean business districts in Manhattan and Queens; a networking dinner for entrepreneurs; and one-on-one business consultations on the final day.

A representative of the Seoul Global Hallyu Incubator said, “This program was designed not as a simple observation tour, but as a hands-on platform that can lead to actual business agreements.”
