Salin Co has developed an innovative social TV platform, Epic Live, enabling users to interact in real time to view broadcast TV and special events with other users at the same time. Players iQ is a sports training and development company focused on helping youth & amateur athletes improve their performance through expert led instruction and technology.
Players iQ & Salin Co partnered to create a sports focused team and player development module (VPX) within the Players iQ platform allowing coaches and teams to study game film, review player performance, and eventually engage in full game simulation in Virtual Reality.
Building on the successful features of Salin Co’s EpicLive, youth athletes and amateur sports teams will soon be able to leverage the power of Social VR to better prepare themselves for in-game competition though the new VPX platform. “Leading sports technology has traditionally only been made available to world’s top athletes & professional teams” said Players iQ CEO Christopher Hansen. “The partnership with Salin Co allows us to provide athletes of all levels access to the most advanced modern media technology and training tools”
The Virtual Player Exchange (VPX) will initially be rolled out in the United States & Korea, as well as select international markets in 2020. “Players iQ has access to many of the foremost sports specific trainers and coaches in the world” said Jason Kim, CEO of Salin Co. “Sports training and development is an excellent utilization of our platform. The partnership provides us with a unique opportunity to scale our offerings to new users & markets as we continue to expand internationally”
