LS ELECTRIC is accelerating its push into global markets after winning a major contract to supply power equipment for a North American tech giant’s data center infrastructure.

LS ELECTRIC announced on the 24th that it had won a project to supply power equipment for an AI data center for a North American tech giant, worth approximately KRW 230.9 billion (US$165.72 million).

The contract, signed in June, has more than doubled in value after the customer requested an increase in volume, bringing it above the disclosure threshold. At the time, LS ELECTRIC signed a contract with the tech giant to supply 38-kV high-voltage distribution systems worth KRW 106.4 billion (approximately US$70.43 million).

※ LS ELECTRIC’s disclosure threshold for a single sales or supply contract (order) is approximately KRW 124.1 billion (2.5% of consolidated revenue at the end of 2025).

The contract runs from June 8, the date of the original agreement, through January 30, 2027.

The additional order reflects the strong trust LS ELECTRIC built by successfully delivering distribution systems under an earlier contract to supply data center infrastructure for the same tech giant.

The company is seen as having earned recognition for both its technology and execution by fully meeting the demanding quality standards and short delivery schedules set by global tech giants.

LS ELECTRIC has secured supply chain stability and a competitive edge in delivery times through its local production facilities, including LS ELECTRIC Utah in Utah and the Bastrop Campus in Texas.

LS ELECTRIC plans to build on this contract to accelerate its efforts to capture the next-generation AI data center power infrastructure market, including direct-current distribution.
