Zigzag’s Z Payment tops 150 sellers with monthly sales over 100 million won

Fashion tech company Croquis Inc. said on the 16th that more than 150 sellers on Zigzag, its women’s shopping mall platform, have surpassed 100 million won in monthly sales using Z Pay, the integrated payment service it developed.

Zigzag launched Z Pay in October 2019, allowing shoppers to add products from different shopping malls to one cart and pay for them in a single transaction. It is the first and only integrated payment service in Korea developed by a shopping meta-platform.

According to Zigzag, the number of participating sellers has grown by more than 40% each month since Z Pay launched, and around 1,800 shopping malls now use the service. In February alone, more than 150 sellers generated sales of at least 100 million won. The three top-selling sellers recorded combined sales of 5 billion won that month, reflecting a broader trend of significant sales growth among participating shopping malls.

About 30% of sellers on Z Pay have seen their average monthly sales rise 2.8-fold compared with before joining. One seller’s sales surged 22-fold from the previous month, while shopping malls with monthly sales of at least 10 million won saw increases of up to 11-fold. Sellers also saw sales grow by three to seven times after taking part in promotional events offered free of charge, with most participants reporting meaningful gains.

Zigzag’s seller support programs have driven this growth. The company offers Z Pay sellers free product exposure to its 3 million monthly app users, free promotional events and marketing support, and real-time product information syncing. It also plans to introduce daily settlements in the first half of this year.
