Travel tech company MyRealTrip Co., which operates a travel booking platform, announced on the 30th that it had launched “MyRealMagazine,” where professional guides working in the field introduce customers to detailed information about local travel destinations.
With the launch of “MyRealMagazine,” MyRealTrip is drawing on the know-how and experience of active tour guides to help travelers with everything from trip planning and destination information to searching for and booking products.
“MyRealMagazine” features content showcasing each destination’s character, from local restaurants and major attractions to activities and shopping. Travelers can access it by selecting a destination on the MyRealTrip service. The magazine will start in blog form and may expand to video content later; the company also plans to offer a variety of coupons linked to its content.
“MyRealMagazine” is launching with nearly 20 articles on destinations including Taiwan, Da Nang, and Bangkok. In the first half of the year, it plans to roll out content in stages, prioritizing popular destinations frequently visited by travelers, including Macau, Kota Kinabalu, Cebu, Vladivostok, Guam, and Hanoi.
MyRealTrip CEO Lee Dong-geon said, "We aim to become a super app that goes beyond brokering all kinds of travel products by making active use of our greatest strength, our local partner network, to provide travelers with essential content. We’ll be fully prepared for the end of the COVID-19 situation and the return of travel demand."
