Andspace operator Thinking Lab raises seed funding from Yoon Min Foundation

Thinking Lab, which operates the meeting concierge service Andspace, announced on the 7th that it had raised seed funding from the Yoon Min Chang Creative Investment Foundation.

Founded in July 2019, Thinking Lab operates Andspace for training coordinators at small and midsize companies and organizations, as well as independent instructors, who need to hold regular events, training sessions, and meetings.

Andspace is an all-in-one training support service that combines professional training facilities with on-site manager support. Training organizers who typically plan events with just one or two staff members and handle everything themselves—from booking a venue and purchasing supplies to running the sessions—can significantly reduce costs and workload.

Jina Park, CEO of Thinking Lab, which operates Andspace, said, “Drawing on our experience running our own training programs, we were able to build Andspace as an all-in-one training support service that closely reflects the needs of training coordinators and instructors.” She added, “With this investment and follow-on funding, we will move quickly to expand our locations across Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and build an IT-based service. We aim to grow into a platform that solves real problems for customers seeking convenient training support in the expanding market for training and group events.”

Andspace focuses on dedicated meeting spaces tailored to the needs of small and midsize organizations and companies, as well as independent instructors, for training sessions and gatherings. It opened its first location near Hapjeong Station on Subway Line 2 last September and, as of April, had opened its second location in Seochon near Gyeongbokgung Station on Line 3. The space operates 24 hours a day, year-round, and is equipped with heating and air conditioning. A community manager is always on-site, and the venue provides coffee, tea, and other refreshments.
