Bluevisor said on the 15th that it had been selected for Draper University’s accelerator program in the United States and would now move in earnest to enter Silicon Valley. The company was recognized for its product technology, market potential and team strength.

Bluevisor will develop a local market strategy and identify partners to work with mentors including Tim Draper, founder of Draper University, and Andy Tang. To establish a foothold in the U.S. market, the company plans to advance its global business through efforts including gathering information on technology trends, identifying prospective customers, selecting target customers, and enhancing and localizing its AI wealth management solution. In particular, it plans to explore collaboration opportunities through meetings with finance departments at global companies such as Twitter, Twitch and Facebook.

The six-week program will take place in Silicon Valley. Due to COVID-19, it will be held online, and Bluevisor will begin participating on September 18.

Bluevisor developed HIGHBUFF, an AI wealth management solution. HIGHBUFF is designed for the Korean and U.S. markets, using AI to manage investments and address issues with both direct and indirect investing.

HIGHBUFF uses big data collected through Oracle Cloud systems to have AI independently handle every stage of investing, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, trade execution and rebalancing. Users can set the AI’s risk tolerance through the HIGHBUFF app. They can turn on the AI and have it manage their investments directly through the cloud system.

Recently, Bluevisor was named one of Seoul’s 300 promising companies. It is also working to expand globally from Korea, including identifying potential foreign investors in cooperation with overseas trade offices and arranging video meetings that could lead to actual investment.

“HIGHBUFF’s potential to address issues with direct and indirect investing while also using AI to replace the direct investment market has been recognized in Silicon Valley,” said Bluevisor CEO Hwang Yong-guk. “We will do our utmost to become a global company through ongoing sales efforts, including showcasing the technological capabilities of Korea’s AI wealth management solutions to the world.”

Founded in Silicon Valley in 2012 by prominent U.S. investor Tim Draper, Draper University specializes in accelerator programs for entrepreneurs. Draper is known for successful investments in companies including Tesla, Baidu, Zappos, Skype and Indiegogo. Draper University has graduated around 700 participants from more than 70 countries. Its graduates have generated $27 million in revenue and raised $220 million in investment.
