Linkflow, a developer of wearable 360-degree cameras, announced on the 14th that it raised an additional KRW 2 billion from JB Asset Management. The investment follows a KRW 7.2 billion round in April from NH Investment & Securities, Eureka Asset Management, and Albatross Investment, bringing Linkflow’s Series B funding to KRW 9.2 billion. The company’s total funding now stands at approximately KRW 23.2 billion.
Linkflow spun off from Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab in 2016 to develop wearable 360-degree cameras. Its flagship products, the Nex360 and Fit360, support live streaming of 360-degree video. The company has earned recognition for its growth potential and value in key areas such as remote communication and VR, which are expanding rapidly amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Linkflow plans to use the investment to expand its business, focusing on launching its next-generation models in the second half of the year and developing overseas sales channels.
“As the COVID-19 pandemic accelerates the digital transformation toward remote operations across industries, we will strengthen our products’ competitiveness so they can help businesses and consumers overcome challenges,” said Linkflow CEO Kim Yong-guk. “We will evolve beyond cameras into communication tools that connect people and industries and make the world a better place.”
