Autonomous A2Z, a specialist autonomous driving solutions company, said on the 7th that it raised approximately KRW 2.1 billion in seed funding to advance its autonomous driving technology and develop commercial solutions for special-purpose vehicles (SPVs).

The funding will allow Autonomous A2Z to begin full-scale work on projects it is developing in-house for commercialization and create opportunities to secure additional investment to support smooth solution development and gain an early foothold in the market.

“Closing this seed round has given us a stable development environment in which to commercialize our technology,” said Han Ji-hyung, CEO of Autonomous A2Z. “With the strong support of our new investors, who believe in our capabilities, and our proprietary autonomous driving solutions, we will work even harder to develop commercial solutions for special-purpose vehicles (SPVs).”

Founded in 2018, autonomous driving solutions specialist Autonomous A2Z is actively conducting autonomous driving demonstration projects across South Korea, drawing on its differentiated technology. Through technology partnerships with major domestic telecom and platform companies, it is also pursuing a range of initiatives, including smart city projects. The experience and technology gained through these efforts have enabled the company to demonstrate its potential to expand into automation and unmanned operations.
