Bigsoul, developer of the card benefits management app The Ssen Card, announced on the 8th that it had launched a card recommendation service that helps users find a card matching their preferences in just one minute.
Previously, cardholders had to review information from individual card issuers to see whether a card’s benefits suited them, or manually search card rankings on sites with unclear criteria.
The “One-Minute Card Advisor” lets users find cards with attractive benefits in just a few clicks, including cards that complement their current card or offer better benefits. It also provides weekly rankings of popular cards that users are getting the most benefits from.
The Ssen Card said it developed its own AI card recommendation solution, which analyzes benefits across about 4,500 credit and debit cards in Korea along with users’ spending patterns. This technology enables the service to find cards matching users’ preferences in one minute.
The Ssen Card has helped users make smarter spending decisions by offering real-time tracking of spending and benefits across cards from up to 27 card issuers, banks, and securities firms in Korea. The company regularly gathers customer feedback and has continued to improve the service, earning positive reviews. Recent updates include automatic alerts on whether users are on track to meet the spending requirement for next month’s benefits, easier card issuer linking, and improvements to the user interface, user experience, and design.
CEO Lee Jong-seok said, “Bigsoul’s slogan, ‘Smart Card Life,’ reflects our ambition to go beyond tracking spending and helping users maximize benefits. We aim to assess whether the cards people currently use are right for them and help them get more benefits from the same spending habits with the best possible cards.” He added, “We plan to upgrade the One-Minute Card Advisor to analyze spending patterns across a customer’s multiple cards and design the optimal card portfolio.”
