Bigsol, the developer of The Ssen Card, an app for managing card benefits in one place, announced on the 24th that it has launched a benefits map that lets cardholders find available benefits based on their location.

Previously, cardholders had to search for eligible stores on a map one by one or walk around to find them. Some also missed out on benefits because they did not know there were eligible stores nearby.

With The Ssen Card’s Benefits Map, users can select a business category and see nearby stores, with colors indicating whether benefits are available. Selecting a store shows its name, phone number, and address, as well as the card in the user’s wallet that offers the greatest benefit and the estimated benefit based on the amount spent.

A newly added feature lets users search for the best available benefit at a planned purchase location using the “Find Benefits” search bar, even when they are not nearby. Users can also view rankings of the stores The Ssen Card users are searching for most through “Popular Keywords,” and get recommendations for the card that offers the greatest benefit at stores they visit frequently.

With the launch of the Benefits Search Map, The Ssen Card continues to offer a service that helps users manage their finances more wisely by bringing all their cards together in one place and tracking spending and benefits in real time. Users can manage benefits by option for more than 5,300 cards issued in Korea, or enter and manage them manually if needed. The company regularly checks customer needs and uses the feedback to improve its service, including updates, faster connections with card issuers, and better UI/UX and design.

“As of 2020, economically active people in Korea held an average of four cards each. We will make it convenient to manage those cards in one place and help users easily get more benefits tailored to their spending patterns,” said CEO Lee Jong-seok. “This Benefits Map update will lay the groundwork for people across the country to easily find and use benefits nearby.”
