Interbrid signs MOU with C Space Systems to supply Tune

Adtech startup Interbrid Inc. announced on the 28th that it had signed a business partnership agreement with C Space Inc. to provide its smart media solution, Tune, to C Space convenience stores nationwide.

C Space is a convenience store brand operated by C Space Inc. that includes independent and franchised stores. In June, it reached 300 locations nationwide.

Under the agreement, the companies will begin working together to attract and run advertising-based Tune projects at around 300 C Space stores nationwide, starting this month at C Space Samsung 1 in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

Tune, provided by Interbrid, is a digital out-of-home advertising (DOOH) service available in sales-based and advertising-based formats. It installs window media at stores with glass windows or doors, allowing businesses to promote products with images and videos at selected times without using posters or banners.

The advertising-based option can generate additional revenue by hosting ads from other companies, making it a potential source of investment income. It can reduce the cost of outdoor advertising for small and midsize companies and small business owners, while also creating an additional revenue stream.

A C Space representative said, “Increasing revenue per store is a major priority for a convenience store franchisor. We’re pleased that introducing Tune gives our franchisees, who are struggling amid COVID-19, another way to earn additional income.” The representative added, “Stores will be able to build the C Space brand not only through their signs but also through their windows, which we expect to boost brand awareness.”
