WASHZ Company, which operates the mobile laundry service Laundrygo, announced on the 27th the launch of a new one-time-use service that customers can use conveniently without a dedicated laundry collection bin called a Laundrylet.

Previously, customers had to request and receive a welcome kit containing a Laundrylet before using the service. With the launch of the one-time-use option, they can now send in laundry without a Laundrylet and receive it in either a Laundrylet or a “Light Bag,” depending on their plan.

Alongside the launch, Laundrygo has improved features for first-time customers. Customers can choose a laundry plan that suits their lifestyle, sort their laundry into shopping bags or plastic bags, and request pickup before 11 p.m. to have their clean laundry delivered the next day.

Introduced with the one-time-use service, the Light Bag is a fabric bag that lets customers use the service without the burden of storing a Laundrylet. Customers who prefer a Laundrylet can get one by signing up for Laundrygo’s monthly subscription or pay-as-you-go service. One-time users receive one of three Light Bag sizes, depending on the type and volume of their laundry.

Laundrygo currently offers dry cleaning, shirt laundering, everyday laundry, bedding and sneaker cleaning, as well as clothing alterations for luxury and everyday garments.

“We introduced this one-time-use service after gathering customer feedback to provide a more efficient service,” said WASHZ Company CEO Cho Seong-woo. “We will continue to focus on customer feedback and conduct research to deliver a differentiated premium laundry service.”

Laundrygo recently raised 50 billion won in new funding and opened its second smart factory in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The company plans to expand into more regions and introduce a range of new services.
