LETITU, which designs personalized curricula for students seeking admission to U.S. colleges and delivers them through a digital platform, announced on the 17th that it raised 1.3 billion won in seed funding from Hyundai Technology Investment and Kyung Dong Pharmaceutical.

LETITU’s “The Pond” service guides students in building portfolios for college applications and career goals. It moves beyond one-way lessons based solely on instructional videos, using AI to provide questions tailored to each student’s level. The service also offers a new kind of learning solution through clear, intuitive explanations of key concepts. LETITU has filed three patent applications covering related technologies and learning methods.

Hyundai Technology Investment, which led the round, explained its decision: “The evolution and transformation of education platforms are essential. We expect LETITU’s specialized curriculum and technology-enabled services, including AI, to introduce a new paradigm, distinct from traditional education.”

Kyung Dong Pharmaceutical, which joined the investment, said: “Both physical and mental health are grounded in each student’s sense of achievement in pursuing their goals and in personal growth.” It added: “After experiencing the COVID era, we hope to see companies help people maintain their health and quality of life, while also supporting LETITU’s practical learning model, which enables students to participate directly.”

LETITU CEO Lee Da-hoon said: “We aim to support students throughout their education and career exploration through digitalization. Our goal and vision are to help students with limitless potential discover their strengths and actively shape their lives as they grow.”

Founded in 2021, LETITU is an edtech startup that aims to provide equal educational opportunities to all students through an online education platform accessible to users around the world.

LETITU said it has chosen the U.S. as its initial target market and plans to launch its web-based online service worldwide in March.
