WashSwat Co., Ltd., which operates the contactless mobile laundry service Laundry Special Forces, announced on the 3rd the launch of a clothing storage service that offers one-stop, contactless storage and delivery after cleaning.

With each change of season or move, washing, organizing and storing clothes takes time and energy—and valuable closet space. Laundry Special Forces is launching a differentiated clothing storage service that combines convenience and reasonable pricing.

Customers can use the Laundry Special Forces app to arrange contactless pickup and delivery, making it easy to store and retrieve clothes from home. After tapping “Request Storage” in the app, customers leave their clothes outside their door. The service picks them up, cleans them and stores them in optimal conditions. Whenever customers need an item, it will be delivered to their door, whether they request one piece or 10.

To launch the service, Laundry Special Forces has opened a clothing storage center in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, designed specifically for garment storage. Storage is the next most important stage in the clothing life cycle after cleaning, but storing each garment properly to extend its lifespan can be difficult at home. The center is equipped with facilities designed for optimal garment storage, including consistently maintained temperature and humidity levels and lighting that minimizes damage. This allows clothes to be stored long-term without concern about damage, even during humid seasons such as the monsoon.

Laundry Special Forces has also added features for storage customers. The “My Closet” section of the app shows photos of stored garments so customers can check their condition. Customers can store clothes with peace of mind, even for long periods, and retrieve them by selecting photos of the items they want delivered in “My Closet” and submitting a delivery request.

The clothing storage service costs 3,000 won per item per month, regardless of weight or size. To mark the launch, Laundry Special Forces is offering three months free for first-time users. The free period begins on the pickup date, and storage fees apply after three months, making the service even more affordable.

“After introducing AI technology earlier this year—the first in the industry—to transform the laundry process, Laundry Special Forces has now launched a clothing storage service, laying the groundwork for innovation in how people buy, wear and discard clothes,” said Namgung Jina, co-CEO of WashSwat Co., Ltd. “We hope our clothing storage service will save customers time and space and make everyday life more convenient.”
