In July 2020, the Korea Fintech Center consolidated its headquarters in Pangyo and its Seoul branch and moved to Front1, a hub for startups and innovation-driven growth. The center is working to provide one-stop fintech startup and incubation services and support the growth of fintech startups.

Over the past four years, the Korea Fintech Center has developed into an organization with specialized expertise in supporting fintech startups through the Pre-Startup Package. It has incubated 105 startups, which during the program period generated 1.968 billion won in revenue, created 245 jobs, and attracted 1.751 billion won in investment.

The center also connects startups with its other support programs and offers a range of growth support and benefits. These include preferred guarantees from the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to ease funding and financing costs (100% guarantee coverage and a fixed guarantee fee of 0.7%), as well as the AWS Activate program, which provides credits and technical training. Participating companies have expressed high satisfaction with the support.

The Korea Fintech Center said the Pre-Startup Package offers prospective founders an opportunity to enter the fintech ecosystem while receiving comprehensive, long-term support, and encouraged prospective founders with innovative fintech technologies to apply.
