Delicious completes acquisition of SO+, offers its ERP program for free

Delicious, which operates Sinsang Market, a wholesale and retail platform for K-fashion, announced today, the 11th, that it has completed its acquisition of SO+ (SO Plus), which operates software for buying agents.

SO Plus provides ERP software for “sait samchon,” or buying agents who connect retailers and wholesalers in Dongdaemun’s fashion trade. Around 400 buying agents currently use the service, which streamlines tasks such as settlements and order management—work that can take one to three hours or more—so they can be completed on a smartphone in under five minutes.

SO Plus was previously a paid software service. Following the acquisition, any buying team that wants to use it can apply for free through the SO Plus website. Delicious plans to improve the efficiency and convenience of buying agents, who play a key role in Dongdaemun’s fashion market, and further accelerate the digital transformation of the Dongdaemun fashion ecosystem.

“We decided to make this acquisition to support an efficient and convenient work environment for buying agents, who play a central role in the Dongdaemun fashion ecosystem,” said Jang Hong-seok, co-CEO of Delicious. “We will continue to lead the digital transformation of Dongdaemun’s fashion ecosystem, a K-fashion cluster, and work to help our users grow their businesses.”

Meanwhile, Delicious moved part of its logistics fulfillment operations from Seoul to Incheon in late March in preparation for global expansion. The 1,200-pyeong automated logistics center is being equipped with an automated guided vehicle (AGV) system. It can automate product sorting and repositioning during receiving and shipping, track inventory in real time, and handle large volumes of goods at once. With fulfillment operations now split between Seoul and Incheon, Delicious plans to step up its global expansion, beginning with Japan in the second half of this year.
