PRE ENT announced on the 6th that it will establish a new U.S. subsidiary, “PRE ENT of America.”

Through the new U.S. entity, PRE ENT plans to step up its global expansion and diversify its business, focusing on management while also expanding into content production, commerce and digital marketing.

The United States is considered a global powerhouse in content and accounts for more than half of the world’s content market, according to a report by the Korea Creative Content Agency.

The U.S. subsidiary will handle communications with international clients, a role previously managed from Korea, expanding customer engagement while providing high-quality, convenient service. The company also plans to develop additional business models tailored to local conditions.

PRE ENT operates content brands including the multi-channel network “PRE Entertainment” and virtual streamer production company “PRE Universe,” and provides global e-commerce solutions tailored to each brand.

“More than 80% of our revenue comes from international clients,” said Kim Min-seok, CEO of PRE ENT. “Establishing a local subsidiary will help us resolve communication issues caused by time differences by enabling us to communicate more closely with clients. We also plan to attract more international customers, maximize revenue and expand our existing multi-channel network and character IP businesses into North America.”
