New York-inspired kitchenware brand Frieling announced that it has opened a new headquarters in New Jersey and built its own logistics and distribution facility in Houston, Texas.

The headquarters move is intended to support the company’s growth, including the recent successful launch of its taco line. The new headquarters in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, will also prepare the company to add staff in sales, marketing, brand management and other roles.

“With consumer orders increasing and demand for our B2B program growing, we decided it was the right time to move away from third-party logistics and build a more efficient in-house system,” said Michael Karyo, senior vice president of Frieling. “The Houston-based logistics hub we built with our parent company, FDG/Jiawei Life Style, will support the company’s growth more flexibly and efficiently and help sustain our growth over the next five to 10 years.”

Founded in New York in 2006, Frieling is a kitchenware brand popular in 35 countries worldwide, including South Korea, where it is distributed by Hive Korea. Since 2019, it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Taiwan-listed Jiawei Lifestyle.
