Media art company Cuz will unveil WAA (Where Art’s Alive), a premium media art platform combining art and technology, at SXSW (South by Southwest) 2025, a world-renowned arts festival taking place in Austin, Texas, in March 2025.

Held each March in Austin, SXSW is a global creative industries festival spanning music, film, and interactive media. It brings together artists and creators from around the world to push the boundaries of art. At this year’s event, running from March 7 to 16, 2025, Cuz will introduce WAA, a platform leading the digital transformation of art.

WAA is a bespoke media art platform for luxury hotels, premium offices, and large commercial venues, creating immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between space and art. More than 1,000 ultra-high-definition (4K–8K) media art works—the largest collection of its kind in Korea—adapt organically to the character and atmosphere of each architectural space, offering visitors a new way to experience art in everyday settings.

At SXSW, Cuz will install LED displays at the Austin Convention Center to showcase WAA’s innovative art experience. More than 1,000 ultra-high-definition (4K–8K) media art works will adapt organically to the space’s character and atmosphere, blurring the boundaries between space and art and adding to SXSW’s experimental, artistic energy.

Jin Sil, CEO and art director of Cuz, said, “Art should no longer be confined to static galleries; it should be a living presence in our everyday spaces. WAA creates experiences in which art comes alive in luxury hotels, commercial spaces, and public places. Through SXSW, we hope to share this vision with leaders in the global creative industries.”
