Doosan Enerbility said on the 17th that it had signed a contract to supply three 380 MW-class gas turbines to a major U.S. technology company. The company plans to supply gas turbines and generators to a data center being built by the customer, delivering one of each in 2027 and two of each in 2028. The deal follows a contract signed last October to supply two gas turbines. In roughly two months, Doosan Enerbility has signed contracts to supply a total of five turbines to the same U.S. tech company.

Doosan Enerbility’s rapid expansion of gas turbine orders in the U.S. is driven by proven performance, fast delivery, and service support from its U.S. subsidiary. Since becoming the first Korean company to develop a large gas turbine in 2019, it has completed 17,000 hours of demonstration testing, establishing the technology’s reliability. Including this contract, it has secured orders for 12 turbines to date, demonstrating its competitiveness. The gas turbine maintenance capabilities of its Houston-based subsidiary, DTS[1], have also helped win orders.

“Following our first export, we have now secured an additional supply contract, firmly establishing Doosan as a global gas turbine player,” said Son Seung-woo, head of Doosan Enerbility’s Power Services Business Group. “Building on this achievement, we will strengthen our position in the rapidly growing North American market and actively respond to rising demand.”
