Bodyfriend, a healthcare robotics® company, will participate for the 10th consecutive year in CES 2026, the world’s largest consumer electronics and information technology (IT) show, taking place in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.
At CES 2026, Bodyfriend will begin expanding K-healthcare robots—combining AI, robotics and digital healthcare—into global markets. With major Korean companies including Samsung, Hyundai Motor, LG and Doosan expected to showcase robotics and physical AI technologies, Bodyfriend will present K-healthcare robotics as an emerging future industry and niche market for physical AI.
The 733, a CES 2025 Innovation Award winner, is a wearable AI healthcare robot that showcases Bodyfriend’s proprietary “Robotics Technology.” The product can stand up and sit down on its own, assist users in sitting and standing, and actively extend limb movement based on an understanding of the musculoskeletal system. At CES 2026, Bodyfriend will unveil an upgraded model featuring new ankle-rotation technology for the first time worldwide and showcase the robot’s movements in a synchronized group performance.
AI features developed using proprietary, big-data-based algorithms are also expected to draw attention. One example is Da Vinci AI, a healthcare robot that measures stress levels using a PPG (photoplethysmography) sensor and recommends suitable massages. The company will also unveil, for the first time, a feature that provides personalized massages by combining AI recommendations based on users’ physical data—including age, gender, height and weight—with Eastern and Western personality information such as saju (Korean Four Pillars), zodiac signs and MBTI types.
Bodyfriend said healthcare robots have already captured about 50% of Korea’s massage chair market and are reshaping the industry, with overseas sales more than doubling year over year. The company added that the AI healthcare robots it will showcase at CES will help usher in an era when anyone can enjoy a deep massage at home, have their biometric signals analyzed by AI and receive optimal solutions.
At CES 2026, Bodyfriend will set up a 157-pyeong booth in the Central Hall, the main exhibition area at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), and showcase 40 products across 21 types. The lineup includes a range of unreleased products, including the 733 wearable AI healthcare robot, designed to maximize the body’s range of motion; the new massage-bed-style Famile; and Bodyfriend Mini, a new brand of compact massagers.
