Doosan Enerbility is strengthening its position in the global market after securing another gas turbine order in the United States.

Doosan Enerbility said on the 6th that it had signed a contract with a U.S. company to supply seven 380 MW-class gas turbines. The company plans to supply one gas turbine and generator each month, starting in May 2029, for a data center the customer is building. Including this contract, Doosan Enerbility will have supplied a total of 12 gas turbines to the United States.

Doosan Enerbility’s rapid expansion of gas turbine orders in the United States is supported by proven performance, fast delivery, and service from its U.S. subsidiary. Since becoming the first Korean company to develop a large-scale gas turbine in 2019, it has completed 17,000 hours of demonstration testing, establishing the technology’s reliability. With this contract, the company has secured orders for a total of 23 units to date, demonstrating its competitiveness. DTS, its Houston-based subsidiary, is also helping win orders with its gas turbine maintenance capabilities.

Son Seung-woo, head of Doosan Enerbility’s Power Service Business Group, said, “Supplying a total of 12 gas turbines to the United States, including under this contract, will further strengthen our position as a global player. Doosan will continue to provide competitive gas turbines and actively respond to growing demand at home and abroad.”
